The objectives of the Canuck Tunes are as follows:
To coordinate and provide the necessary facilities for a national network of exchange of information and programming.
To support the practice of Canadian media arts, music, and other relevant artistic disciplines.
To support public access to the airwaves, particularly for under-represented voices and alternative programming.
To collect, store, and make available a database of information about the history and operation of Cooperative Community radio in Canada and to make this information available to Canadians, interested organizations, and the public via printed or electronic means.
To offer consulting services for any group wishing to establish a new radio station under the government's definition of "community" radio.
To acquire, rent or otherwise obtain property.
To raise or borrow funds to carry out the objectives of Canuck Tunes Radio
To undertake other activities consistent with the objectives of the Canuck Tunes Station, which aim to expand and improve community music radio in Canada.
